Use the links on the left to access information relating to each Greater Manchester division. This information includes Local Confidence Survey data for each division in Greater Manchester. British Crime Survey data for across Greater Manchester as a whole shows that 48.3% of people agree that the police and local council are dealing with anti-social behaviour and crime issues that matter.
Greater Manchester is made up of 10 local authority areas - Bolton, Bury, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford and Wigan - and 12 police divisions which are the same as the local authority areas with the exception of Manchester which is split into three police divisions, South Manchester, North Manchester and Metropolitan.

GMPA works on behalf of and represents all of these communities. It is important that the Authority not only understands what Greater Manchester is all about, it is also vital that we have a clear understanding of the communities that make up Greater Manchester. You can use the links on the left hand side of the page to visit pages which contain some of the information GMPA is in touch with along with links to other agencies you may find useful, for example local authority websites and Neighbourhood Policing Teams. This is merely the tip of the information iceberg which GMPA has its disposal. The Members and staff who make up GMPA regularly access and monitor a wide range of material, including data held by partner agencies, to ensure they continue to stay in touch with important information.
