Young People RECRUITMENT NOW TAKING PLACE

Youth IAG poster A recruitment drive is currently taking place to sign up 15 young people to form a Youth Independent Advisory Group.

Volunteers RECRUITMENT NOW TAKING PLACE

Recruitment regularly takes place for members of the public who give up their spare time to support GMPA in advisory roles as Independent Advisory Group members or as Appropriate Adults or Independent Custody Visitors which are both schemes which contribute to the delivery of an effective police custody process in GMP.

Police Authority members THERE IS CURRENTLY AN INDEPENDENT MEMBER VACANCY

The authority is made up of a number of independent members who serve four year terms.

GMPA Staff THERE ARE CURRENTLY NO VACANCIES

A team of staff provides support to police authority members.

Senior Police Officers  THERE ARE CURRENTLY NO VACANCIES

GMPA is responsible for recruiting the Chief Constable. The authority also works in partnership with Greater Manchester Police to recruit the Deputy Chief Constable, Assistant Chief Constables and Assistant Chief Officers.
